Peninsula High School student volunteers Cam’ Packard, Brianna Zohman, and Eric Jensen help set up the 12th annual Peninsula Schools Education Foundation’s fund-raising breakfast in October in the school’s commons by decorating with posters prepared by students whose teachers were recipients of PSEF awards over the years. The posters demonstrate the accomplishments made possible by the foundation’s  grants.

On a mid-October Sunday, a drizzling, damp, calm, and peaceful day on Von Geldern Cove brings in 23 harbor seals, one great blue heron and a soggy sail boat, all waiting for a slow-to-arrive sun.

The newly formed Peninsula High School’s marching band practices for a concert. The band is conducted by Paula DeMoss, a PHS graduate and Key Pen resident, who said the school hasn’t had a marching band since she was a student there.
