Much respected retired Peninsula High School agricultural teacher Ross Bischoff cuddles his creation of a mailbox witch as he displays offerings of home grown pumpkins at his barn off Hoff Road in Home. Bischoff is a member of the Key Peninsula Metro Park District Board, an originating force in developing the Gig Harbor Farmers’ Market, and with his son, Jon, runs the family’s barn shop featuring seasonal farm products, freshly made cider, and home made fudge and jams.
